The letter o is a nice one to have around, especially if you want to say things like the things on this worksheet – things that begin with o. Things like otter and octopus and ostrich and owl and orange and onion. Have kids say the words, look for the o at the beginning of each word, and circle it. (You can have them practice the o sound, however, the word onion doesn’t fit into either the long or short o category.) Have kids circle the beginning o and color the page.
